ALLOY20 PIPE

Alloy 20 nickel pipe is made from a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of copper and molybdenum. It also contains niobium for stabilization against sensitization resulting in intergranular corrosion. This alloy is a combination of nickel, iron, chromium, molybdenum, and niobium, designed to be highly resistant to general corrosion, as well as pitting and crevice corrosion caused by media containing chlorides, sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids.

Alloy 20 exhibits similar behavior to alloy 825 in sulfuric acid applications due to their comparable chemical compositions, and is therefore applicable in similar use cases.

This versatile nickel alloy finds utility in many industries, including but not limited to chemical, petrochemical, food processing, nuclear engineering, oil and gas, pharmacy, pollution control, and waste processing.
