INCOLOY 800 PIPE
With its blend of nickel, iron, and chromium, Incoloy 800 Pipe is valued for its high strength and ability to resist oxidation and carburization when exposed to high temperatures. The alloy’s significant nickel content ensures it is highly resistant to both pressure corrosion cracking due to chloride exposure and embrittlement caused by the precipitation of the sigma phase. This alloy possesses both high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for a range of applications such as chemical and petrochemical processing, food processing, nuclear engineering, and the protection of electrical heating elements. The alloy is typically utilized at temperatures below 1200˚F (650˚C).
