Anticorrosion and thermal insulation in pipeline transportation
Pipeline transportation is extremely convenient and economical, especially when transporting certain liquid or gaseous media over long distances, whether by train, ship or plane, by land, sea or air. The limitations are huge, and the shipping efficiency and shipping costs are completely disproportionate. In terms of safety performance, this kind of transportation also has huge hidden dangers.
In the case of pipeline transportation, although pipeline installation and regular maintenance will require a lot of expenditure, it can transport oil and gas materials between two places. It is lower than the transportation by train and plane, and greatly exceeds the transportation efficiency. Also, the deeper the plumbing works and the more network of pipes erected, the greater the role of the underground pipes.
Of course, although the use of underground pipelines is very convenient, there are also some disadvantages. The problem of pipeline corrosion was undoubtedly a challenge for the project, and the temperature characteristics of certain transport media also required the insulation capability of the pipeline. As a result, various anti-corrosion steel pipes for corrosion pipes, insulating steel pipes for medium insulation, and anti-corrosion and heat insulating steel pipes for both of them have been manufactured. Through the continuous development of various new materials and special structures, and the continuous improvement of various types of steel pipes, the development of underground pipeline engineering is promoted.
