API 5L X42 PIPE

API 5L pipes are sorted into varying grades according to their strength properties. The X-grade designation, along with a numerical value, indicates the yield strength in PSI. An example would be API 5L Grade X42 PSL 2 pipe, which signifies a yield strength of approximately 42 PSI. This pipe contains a slightly higher amount of manganese as compared to grade A and grade B pipes. 

API 5L X42 Pipe is offered in both Seamless and Welded variations, serving as steel line pipes used in pipeline transportation systems within the petroleum and natural gas sectors. It can be utilized for the transportation of oil, water, and gas with ease.
